The Tamiya Scania R620 Highline 6×4 Limited Blue Edition – 56327 is a special-edition version of one of Tamiya’s most impressive 1/14 scale RC tractor trucks.

This limited model comes with its striking Scania cab factory pre-painted in Racing Blue and finished with a protective clear top coat, giving you a superb professional finish straight from the box.

Underneath the beautifully finished body is Tamiya’s highly detailed 6×4 truck chassis, complete with three axles, twin driven rear axles, realistic leaf-spring suspension and a fully functional 3-speed transmission.

Limited Edition Racing Blue Finish

The standout feature of the 56327 Limited Blue Edition is its factory-finished body.

The Scania Highline cab is supplied pre-painted in Racing Blue with a clear protective top coat, removing the need to paint the main cab yourself and providing an excellent finish for the completed truck.

Highly Detailed Scania R620 Highline Cab

Tamiya has accurately recreated the imposing appearance of the Scania R620 Highline.

The aerodynamic cab features a realistic front grille incorporating mesh material, while both the inner and outer surfaces of the fenders are carefully detailed.

Just like the full-size Scania, the cab tilts forward independently of the fenders, providing access to the chassis underneath and adding another impressive scale feature.

The rear fenders can also be removed to recreate the appearance of a tractor unit carrying a low trailer load.

Heavy-Duty 6×4 Chassis

The R620 uses a realistic three-axle 6×4 configuration, giving the completed truck the imposing stance of a heavy European tractor unit.

The ladder-frame chassis is constructed using aluminium channels with resin cross members, providing a strong foundation for the drivetrain, suspension and detailed body.

Working 3-Speed Transmission

A fully functional 3-speed transmission is included.

When equipped with suitable multi-channel radio equipment and a gear-change servo, the driver can remotely change between the three gears while the truck is moving.

It’s one of the features that makes Tamiya’s 1/14 truck range as enjoyable mechanically as it is visually.

Realistic Suspension & Drivetrain

The front and rear suspension uses metal leaf springs combined with coil-spring dampers to recreate the basic layout of a full-size heavy truck.

A durable die-cast metal front axle is float-mounted on the suspension, while the rear drivetrain incorporates differential gearing for smoother cornering.

Power from the included 540-size motor is transferred from the front-mounted transmission through the propeller shaft to the driven rear wheels.

A pin-type propeller shaft joint is used to help minimise frictional losses through the drivetrain.

Compatible with Tamiya 1/14 Trailers

A fifth-wheel coupler is supplied with the kit, allowing the R620 to be paired with compatible Tamiya 1/14 scale semi-trailers.

Whether coupled to a flatbed, reefer, container or other suitable trailer, the long 6×4 Scania chassis creates an impressive complete truck combination.
