Coming soon – the brand-new FTX Bedlam 1/8 6S Brushless Stunt Truck lands at TJD Models!

Wheelies, donuts, big air and backflips off your favourite ramp – FTX designed the FTX Bedlam for one thing: spectacular stunt action. This 1/8 scale brushless basher packs Hobbywing power, a tough aluminium chassis and a built-in wheelie bar into a short-wheelbase truck that loves to show off.

It’s arriving in two eye-catching colours – red and blue – and both are on our website now, so you can get your order in ahead of the first deliveries.

What Makes the FTX Bedlam Special?

Most 1/8 monster trucks aim to go fast in a straight line. However, the FTX Bedlam is different. Its short wheelbase, for example, gives it lively, playful handling, so it flips, spins and pops wheelies with ease. The integrated rear wheelie bar and wing assembly show FTX designed it from the ground up for stunt driving, not just bashing.

In addition, add high-grip block tyres on beadlock wheels and you’ve got a truck that grips hard, launches hard and lands ready for the next jump.

Hobbywing Brushless Power – 4S or 6S

At the heart of the Bedlam is a Hobbywing 4274 2000Kv brushless motor paired with a Hobbywing 150A 6S-rated speed controller. As a result, you can choose how wild you want it:

• 4S LiPo – plenty of punch with more manageable performance, ideal while you get to know the truck.
• 6S LiPo – the Bedlam’s full power potential for the biggest jumps and most outrageous stunts.

Meanwhile, an Etronix 25kg-rated brushless servo takes care of steering – plenty of muscle to turn those big tyres – and the included Etronix 2.4GHz radio system has a built-in gyro to help keep the truck straight under hard acceleration.

Built Tough for Big Landings

Because stunt trucks take a beating, FTX has used aluminium where it counts:

• Aluminium main chassis with an upper aluminium T-shaped centre brace
• Stainless steel rear skid plate
• CNC-machined 7075 T6 aluminium front and rear shock towers
• Big-bore, oil-filled aluminium shock absorbers
• Aluminium centre differential case, motor mount, suspension mounts, servo horn and servo saver arm
• Front and rear anti-roll bars, pivot-ball front suspension and adjustable upper links

Finally, a waterproof receiver box, 17mm wheel hexes and a clipless body mount with inner body support round off a truck that’s as practical to live with as it is fun to drive.
