Description

Stinger 20×10 Wood Propeller – a 20 x 10 inch (diameter x pitch) beech wood propeller from Stinger Engines, part number RCGF20X10BWP.

Stinger beech wood propellers are well-made, efficient airscrews for petrol and glow engines in sport flying models. In addition, laminated beech gives a stiff, durable blade with a quieter, smoother sound than many composite props.

Tip: balance every new propeller before use and drill the hub accurately – a Stinger propeller drill jig makes this easy. Check the prop for damage before each flight and replace it if it is chipped or cracked.

Fitting advice

Before you fit a new propeller, check that the hub matches the prop drive on your engine and drill the bolt holes carefully.

Then balance the propeller, because an unbalanced prop causes vibration and extra engine wear. In addition, tighten the prop bolts evenly and check them again after the first run. Finally, always keep your hands clear of the prop arc when you start the engine. If you are not sure which size suits your model, call us and we will help you choose.
