Description

Description

JP Lightweight Tissue Covering Paper, 50 x 76cm, Vintage Tan is a genuine JP covering material from J Perkins. Its part number is 5525219.

Perfect for a variety of traditionally built lightweight flying models our tissue range offers a colour palette to suit most aircraft types from vintage R/C and free flight designs, through scale, Peanut and larger rubber types. Tough, easy to apply and with vivid colour, Reno Red is a joy to use.

Key features

  • Professional Lightweight Covering: This premium tissue range is specifically engineered for traditionally built flying models, providing an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio for vintage R/C, free flight, and Peanut scale designs.
  • Tough and Durable Composition: Despite its light weight, the tissue is remarkably resilient, offering a robust exterior skin that stands up to the rigours of flight and handling without compromising aerodynamic efficiency.
  • Effortless Application: Formulated to be a "joy to use," the tissue is easy to apply, wet-shrink, and dope, allowing both novice and expert builders to achieve a taut, wrinkle-free surface on complex airframes.
  • Versatile Scale Compatibility: A definitive resource for historical replicas and competition models, providing the traditional aesthetic and performance characteristics required for heritage aviation modelling.

In addition, JP products come from J Perkins, a UK model distributor since 1975. As a result, matching parts and accessories are easy to find. Also, check the related items below for things that are often bought with this one.
