Seit seiner Einführung 1979 wurde der Kampfpanzer Leopard 2, nicht selten als der Beste der Welt bezeichnet, immer wieder modernisiert und angepasst. Die aktuellste Version Leopard 2A6M hat die längere Bordkanone (L55) und den verbesserten Minenschutz. Neben Deutschland nutzen weitere 15 Nationen den Leopard 2, so auch Kanada in Afghanistan. Das Modell bietet die Wahl zwischen dem A6 und A6M (zusätzliche Minenschutzplatte). Die Oberflächenstrukturen beinhalten sämtliche Details, auch die filigrane Anti-Rutsch Beschichtung. Als Besonderheit hat das Modell eine zweiteilige Kette, die gebogen wird. Dadurch wird ein noch authentischeres Erscheinungsbild geboten.
