Description

The FTX Outback Ranger 3.0 is ready for a new adventure. Built on the latest Outback 3.0 platform, this 1/10 scale radio controlled trail crawler combines classic pick-up styling with a rugged steel chassis and a capable four-wheel-drive transmission.

Available in Sage Green, Red or Sage White, the Ranger features a hidden body mounting system for a clean, realistic appearance. Moulded details include a front grille, bumpers, door mirrors, windscreen wipers, snorkel and door handles. Clear windows, matt-finish wheel arches and a multifunction front and rear LED lighting system complete its distinctive trail-ready look.

Controlled power for technical trails

A Hobbywing WP-1040 brushed electronic speed controller works with a 390-size, 25-turn motor to deliver smooth throttle response for low-speed crawling. The included 7.4V 1500mAh LiPo battery provides the power, with a forward-mounted battery tray positioning it towards the front of the chassis.

An Etronix four-channel 2.4GHz radio system keeps you in control, while an Etronix 6kg waterproof, metal-geared steering servo handles direction changes.

Improved steering and suspension

With an improved 45° steering angle and adjustable front caster geometry, the Ranger 3.0 offers excellent manoeuvrability through tight turns and challenging trail sections.

Oil-filled shock absorbers with threaded bodies allow spring preload adjustment, helping you tune the suspension to suit the terrain. The 6mm multi-link suspension provides articulation to help the tyres maintain contact over uneven ground.

Built for off-road adventures

A steel twin-rail chassis provides a strong foundation, while locked front and rear axles deliver dependable crawling traction. Reinforced axle housings feature removable scale-style covers, giving access to the metal drive spools and crown gears.

Telescopic centre universal driveshafts and steel CVA front universal driveshafts transmit power to the axles. Integrated chassis side guards help protect the vehicle over obstacles, while inner wheel arches help keep dirt and debris away from the chassis.

Super-soft 1.9-inch block-pattern tyres mounted on heritage-inspired wheels finish the package, combining scale appearance with grip across varied trail surfaces.
