Description

Flite Test A-10 Warthog – the Flite Test A-10 Warthog is a twin-motor jet scale warbird speed build kit made from laser-cut Maker Foam, with a 1537mm wingspan. An advanced build for intermediate pilots.

Laser-cut firewalls, pushrods, duct formers, landing gear and wheels are included. Needs a large field; allow about 7 hours to build.

What you need to finish the A-10 Warthog

• Power: Flite Test Power Pack C Twin Radial
• Battery: 3S 3300mAh LiPo
• A transmitter and receiver with at least 4 channels
• A hot glue gun and glue sticks, such as Flite Test 10in Hot Glue Sticks (1lb, 10 pcs)

Good to know

Flite Test speed-build kits come without electronics. You will also need a power pack, servos, a receiver, a propeller and a flight battery. For example, each kit’s plans list the power pack it calls for. Also, building is quicker with a low-temperature glue gun and a sharp hobby blade.

• First, read through the plans before you start building.
• Then dry-fit each part before you glue it in place.
• Also, take care over the centre of gravity, as a plane that balances correctly is far easier to fly.
• Finally, choose calm weather and a large open field for your first flights.
