VXL-8s Waterproof Electronic Speed Control – Aggressive tuning for more power at any rpm, built-in cooling fan, real-time telemetry via Traxxas Link (requires 6511 Wireless Module), and integrated protection circuits.
Velineon 1200XL Brushless Motor – “Big Block” 4-pole 1275 Kv motor with a 5 mm output shaft, oversized aluminum heatsink, dual cooling fans, and speeds of 55+ mph with Two 4s LiPo Batteries.
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) – Enhances acceleration and braking on low-traction surfaces without dulling throttle response, adjustable from off to 100% assistance.
TQi 2.4 GHz 2-Channel High Output Radio System – Stores and loads settings for up to 30 models, programmable multi-function knob, fail-safe security, and patented waterproof receiver box.
Ultra-Heavy-Duty 8s Driveline – Steel CV driveshafts and axles, new larger X-Series differential output yokes, and fully machined aluminum stub axles for durability.
Direct-Drive Transmission – 1.5 mod steel gears, 1.0 mod steel pinion and spur gears, fixed gear mesh system, and huge 1.5 module straight-cut rear differential.
GT Maxx Shocks – Machined aluminum threaded body, extra-large bore, height-adjustable spring retainer, and heavy-duty composite shock caps with pivot balls.
Low-CG Chassis Design – Modular chassis with interlocking bulkheads, dual snap-lock battery compartments, interlocking skid plates, and integrated wire management.
