Designed for experienced modellers and pilots, this ARTF model features rugged balsa/plywood construction, scale detailing, and pre-installed LED lighting – making it both functional and authentic.

Ideal for a 70–125cc petrol engine, the Bird Dog delivers stable, predictable flight characteristics with a broad wing area, flaps, and fixed taildragger gear. Supplied with rockets, windows, full cockpit, and more, it offers excellent presence on the ground and in the air. From calm circuits to slow flybys, this model brings historical character and large-scale performance together beautifully.

About the original:
The L-19A Bird Dog was developed by Cessna as a military observation and liaison aircraft, first flown in the late 1940s. It played a critical role in Korea and Vietnam for forward air control, reconnaissance, and artillery spotting. The Bird Dog was prized for its STOL (short take-off and landing) capabilities, slow-speed stability, and exceptional field visibility—qualities that made it a true asset in the theatre of war.
