Product Description

A fantastic model for the weekend pilot the RR FunGlider is supplied 100% factory-assembled leaving you to simply install your own receiver, charge the flight battery (3S-950mAh), plug in the wings and tailplane, and go flying. With its friendly flight handling characteristics it’s a sheer pleasure to fly, being compact, agile and highly manoeuvrable. Sure enough the powerful brushless motor enables it to perform lively aerobatics and, being a motor glider, long flight times are perfectly feasible. Couple this with a low sink rate and good lift characteristics and you’ll find that the FunGlider is as much at home on the slope as it is thermalling from a flat field. But that’s not all! Given the very strong airframe if you fancy letting your hair down, high-speed descents and snappy aerobatics present no problem.

4 out of 5 stars Tuesday 19 March, 2019 By Adrian L Wood
I bought the Funglider for flat-field thermal soaring/general fun-flying, to compliment a Heron I have had for a while. Using an Overlander 1300 3s lipo and Futaba R2106GF “park flier” receiver, the model comes in at 570g all up weight. I have flown it in wind range 0 - 18 mph so far. It likes the lower wind-speeds best. This battery gives an easy 20 minutes airtime, expect 10 - 15 minutes with aerobatics and liberal use of full power, and 35 - 60 minutes has been achieved on reduced power and with thermal assistance. Although small, this model sniffs out the lift surprisingly well, and using 30% throttle “assistance” helps it hold onto tricky lift patches too! With some negative expo on the controls it can feel smooth and deceptively larger than it is. A nicely versatile fun model! Website Design & eCommerce Solutions
