Product Description

The Grumman F6F Hellcat is an American carrier-based fighter aircraft of World War II. Designed to replace the earlier F4F Wildcat and to counter the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero, it was the United States Navy's dominant fighter in the second half of the Pacific War.
The Hellcat competed with the faster Vought F4U Corsair for that role and prevailed, as the Corsair had significant issues with carrier landings.

The Kyosho F6F EP 400 PNP combines exceptional scale detail and form, with scale performance and presence.
The foldable main wings add to the scale detail and present well on the ground or on display.
The model has a wingspan of 990 mm.
Utilizing lightweight EPO foam, Kyosho have managed to achieve an incredibly detail scale model without compromising on weight.
Together with a powerful brushless motor and brushless ESC the model has spirited performance whilst still remaining stable at low speeds.
If you wish to 'weather' or further detail your model, Kysho have given hints and tips using acrylic paints online.

Please note: Whilst the folding wing mechanism should be strong enough for gentle flight, for more spirited pilots it is recommended that the wings be permanently glue into position.
