Black Horse Edge 540V3 85cc ARTF

Working on the adage that 'Biggest is best', Black Horse decided that their gorgeous Edge 540V3 should be should grow just that little bit morefrom 50cc to an 85cc version.

The GRP cowling will accept both twin and single cylinder petrol engines with ease to give to you an impressive model on the ground an in the air. At 2.68m span she certainly has a 'presence'!!

Like the 50cc sibling, this model is built from Laser cut ply and balsa parts and then lovingly covered in a stunning scheme of Oracover heat shrink film. All mouldings are GRP yet she barely reached 11.5kg all up. To fly well, weight has to be minimised, and Black Horse have gone the xtra mile achieving that.

All the hardware is heavy duty and been optimised for the loads that such a model creates.

With removable wings and tail, she will fit in a reasonable estate car or a hatchback with some internal length available.

It's hard to imagine a better combination of beauty and quality in a traditional wooden model, and to cap it all' she's big and impressive too!
